The eco-friendly resort in Khao Lak is located on a pristine and unspoiled white sandy beach in Phang Nga Province, only 90 minutes’ drive from Phuket International Airport. Apsara is a truly secluded destination where you will be totally relaxed and simply indulge yourself with the wonderful surroundings, the waves breaking on the deserted shore, and the breathtaking sunsets. Set on tranquil Pakarang Beach, this isolated haven is a great place for surfing, particularly for those seeking an uncrowded beach and friendly waves. The hotel’s 195 spacious, well-appointed rooms nestle in tropical splendour and are separated from the 60 extremely comfortable pool and Jacuzzi villas by a lush lagoon, with a mangrove forest against a stunning jungle background of the nearby National Park.

There are three swimming pools – The Apsara infinity pool with separate kid’s pool and fun water slide, the free-form pool with access from the ground floor rooms, and the Villa free-form pool, also with a separate kid’s pool. All the pools have a gorgeous view of the beach, and guests can enjoy the sunset from the water or from the sunloungers around the pools, which are serviced by a friendly team who are pleased to provide refreshments.

The chefs at the resort’s four main restaurants and bars serve up a tantalising range of international dishes and Thai specialities to excite the palate of any gourmet connoisseur. Added to this festival of flavours are the individual settings and atmosphere of each restaurant, whether it’s an international buffet, dinner, casual dining by the beach, fusion cuisine, or just a refreshing, and beautifully prepared, cocktail.

There is so much to experience at Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villas. With a choice of delightful swimming pools, exclusive spa treatments, two fitness gyms, a colourful kid's play area, a relaxing, air-conditioned library, surfing activities, a shop, and for those who wish to get involved – inclusivity in eco-friendly activities. There are cultural pursuits too, for those who wish to gain an insight into Thai traditions, including signature cooking classes or learning the skills of fruit carving.
