Three huge pools hog the hotel’s grounds. There’s a separate swim-up bar that's just for grown-ups, which has in-water tables as well as seating. In addition to the three main pools, there’s an imaginative children’s pool, which comes with a toadstool shower and shark slides.
The Riu Yucatan gives you a lot of excuses to get into the Caribbean Sea. Try body boarding, catamaran sailing or hire a pedalo. RiuLand keeps little ones busy. In the mornings and afternoons, they could be doing anything from sports to mini discos.
The Renova spa* is decorated in calming purple and the treatment list features everything from hot stone massages to after-sun treatments. You don’t have to visit the spa* to get a massage*. Therapists can give you treatments* in the open-air in the garden or beach pavilions.
