This hotel is just outside Sorrento, and offers up panoramic views across to Mount Vesuvius. When you want to get out and explore, there’s a shuttle bus that’ll drop you into town, and to the beach.

The property looks typically Italian from the outside, with red-brick walls and columned balconies. As for the interiors – expect a swish lobby bar and rooms dressed with smart, modern accent colours.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

The hotel’s main restaurant is really elegant, and features marble floors and Murano glass decorations. Breakfast is a buffet set-up, and you can choose from a menu at dinner. There are themed evenings and gala meals, as well.

Lunch comes in the form of a barbecue buffet, including freshly grilled meat, pizzas and pasta. The main restaurant has been joined by a new à la carte place that serves daytime snacks and al fresco dinners in the evening.

The lounge bar has recently been refurbished. It's been decked out in navy and white leather sofas. The poolside bar serves Peroni lager on tap, and you can pick up ice-cream, too. You'll also find a rooftop bar for summer drinks.

Dietary requirements - This hotel can cater for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs, pescatarians and those with nut allergies. There are also gluten-free, wheat-free and lactose-free options. If you have any special dietary requirements, advise before you travel.
