Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura has secured a spot on the edge of town, overlooking Oskjuhlio hill. It’s a 20-minute walk from the centre of Reykjavik.

Inside, the décor is designed to pay homage to Iceland’s natural wonders, with artwork featuring water, lava and glaciers. And everything is white, bar a statement bed runner and black-out curtains.

POOL AREAS

You’ll find a pool in the on-site spa*, which brings the outside in – think stone-covered walls and wooden decorations. The pool and neighbouring whirlpool bath are both heated by geothermal water.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Satt buffet restaurant - Fresh local ingredients come together to create tasty dishes from Iceland and around the world. The open kitchen lets you see your meals cooked from scratch, including pizzas from a wood fired oven. They also bake all their bread, pies and cakes in the onsite bakery. It's open for buffet breakfast and lunches during the week, and brunches at the weekends.

Satt bar* - The Satt bar at the restaurant offers a range of alcoholic and soft drinks including cocktails and iced coffees. And if you get there between 4 and 6pm, you'll get to take advantage of happy hour offers

SPA & BEAUTY

The Soley Natura Spa* offers a pool, sauna and gym. You can book in for treatments, too, with massages and facials using Icelandic herbs.

SPORTS & ACTIVITIES

You can sink into a comfy armchair in the library and read books by the fire. Alternatively, there are bikes for hire, plus you can buy some of the local art in the hotel’s shop.
