Star billing goes to the waterpark, though. It ranks as one of the top five of its kind in Cyprus by TripAdvisor, and it’s not hard to see why. It’s got all the essentials, from multi-lane racing slides to a space bowl. Plus, there’s a mini splash park for little paddlers.

If you’d prefer to stay dry, there are plenty of other options for you to get stuck into. You can watch a movie in the cinema, solve some puzzles in the escape room, and play some games in the arcade. Plus there is an open-air amphitheatre and a nightclub for grown-ups. Then, when it comes to time to eat, five restaurants headline the food scene. The two buffet eateries are joined by an American burger house and an Italian place. There’s also a candy kiosk and ice cream corner.

All slides at the waterpark have a minimum height restriction of 120cm and weight restrictions of 100kg. The Wave Pool has a minimum height restriction of 120cm and a minimum age restriction of 6 years. Inflatables are not allowed, and opening times are dependent on the weather.

You may find that if you’re travelling outside of peak holiday periods, some facilities, both in your hotel and resort, may not be available and entertainment may be more low-key.
