The Laguna Holiday Resort delivers a slice of seclusion – its set in a peaceful woodland and is designed like a mini-village.
Bungalows cloaked by olive trees, a waterside bar and a huge pool that looks out over Antinioti Lagoon are just a few of this hotel’s standout features. Meals are taken care of by the buffet restaurant, and you can join in with traditional dancing a couple of nights a week at the hotel’s Greek evenings. Indoor and outdoor play areas and a hotel-run kids’ club keep things fun for little ones.The decor inside is really modern, too, and there are slick sea-view junior suites on offer in the main building.
Follow the shaded walking paths through the hotel’s grounds and you’ll soon reach a lane that leads to Agios Spiridon Beach. This dainty pocket of sand is a bit out of the way for most, so you’ll find it’s usually pretty quiet.
