The Hotel Riu Helios scores highly for its setting. A short walk through the grounds will take you to the beach, and the shops and bars of Sunny Beach are a 10-minute walk away.
POOL
The main pool is a huge curve of water with a shallow spot for little ones down one end. Sunloungers fan out from its sweeping sun terrace. The second is a circular number, also with a shallow spot for children to enjoy.
Big parasols and cushioned loungers* are lined up neatly along the beach. The hotel is pulled right up against the sands, so it’s only a moment’s walk away.
FOOD & DRINK
There are a couple of themed restaurants – one serves Bulgarian specialities and the other offers Asian fare.
The main restaurant has a modern look and features buffets and show cooking stations. Outside of mealtimes, you can dig in to snacks and afternoon ice-cream.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Beach volleyball and water polo matches make waves in the beach and pool areas. You can also try your hand at racquet sports like tennis.
