Day 1 Arrive Vancouver
On arrival at Vancouver Airport, transfer to your chosen hotel. Transfer not included
Day 2 Vancouver Sightseeing
Today we have include a Vancouver Hop on Hop off Sightseeing pass which will allow you to get around the city and the sights at your leisure.
Day 3 Vancouver to Victoria
Pick up your hire car this morning and drive over to Vancouver Island and make your way to your chosen hotel in Victoria. Car - Intermediate size car . BC Ferry crossing tickets for car and passenger are included
Day 4 Victoria Exploring
Day at leisure to explore Victoria. Visit Butchart Gardens, take a flightseeing trip on a seaplane or take time to do some shopping! You may even wish to pre-book a whale watching trip.
Day 5 Victoria to Parksville
Drive to Parksville, have relaxing afternoon at the Beach Club with some beautiful picture postcard views or for those that a bit more active explore some of the best biking and hiking trails on offer.
Day 6 Parksville to Tofino
Travel to Tofino - Imagine, all in one place, fishing, kayaking, whale watching, bear-watching, bird watching, camping, hiking, storm-watching and First Nations cultural touring. Surfing is big here, and Tofino was named the best surf town in North America in Outside Magazine’s 2010 Editors Choice awards.
Day 7 Tofino Exploring
This morning we have included the popular Coastal Bear Viewing excursion. This tour features black bears and explores the fjord inlets of Clayoquot Sound. During the winter, local black bears are in semi-hibernation. Come May, they leave their dens and head for the closest food source - the ocean! While the bears forage in the intertidal zone, you can unobtrusively observe and photograph their behaviour. You will experience the tour aboard an open-air, rescue-style, 24' rigid-hulled Zodiac suitable for this calm water program. The vessel's shallow draft is especially good for manoeuvring in the small sheltered bays while you are watching for bears and learning about this unique environment. Renainder of the day at Leisure - take in some of the best beaches in Tofino for a swim or a stroll - Chestermans's Beach, Cox Bay but don't miss out the sunset at Tonquin Beach. There are also many boat trips on offer.
Day 8 Tofino to Campbell River
Spend the morning in the Pacific Rim National Park before travelling to Campbell River this afternoon.
Day 9 Campbell River
Spend your day at leisure, there are various wildlife tours you can book also.
Day 10 Campbell River to Whistler
Return to the mainland via the BC Ferries Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay Crossing and drive the sea to sky highway route to your chosen hotel in Whistler. Passenger and car ferry tickets included
Day 11 Peak 2 Peak Gondola
Whistler has some spectacular views, it is a must do destination and a popular holiday destination for locals. There is so much to see and do, to help you take in some of the terrific trails and hikes on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains we have included the world famous Peak 2 Peak gondola. We also recommend adding on a helicopter ride for a birds eye view of the mountain rangers, glaciers and lakes.
Day 12 Whistler to Vancouver
Drive from Whistler to Vancouver, drop off your hire car and make your way to your downtown hotel in Vancouver
Day 13 Vancouver Sightseeing
Spend your last full day taking in the local sights and attractions.
Day 14 Fly Vancouver to UK
Make your way to Vancouver Airport for your overnight flight back to the UK
