The Bahia Principe Grand Coba is a great choice for a holiday to Mexico’s Riviera There are two lake-like pools surrounded by palm trees and lawns. They each come with their own swim-up bar and Jacuzzi®. There's a mini-waterpark just for younger guests, too which comes with a variety of slides for them to whizz down.

When it comes to mealtimes, you’ve got a buffet and six à la cartes. Plus, you can use three of the à la carte restaurants at a neighbouring hotel for even more choice. What’s more, the 24-hour snack bar will keep hungry tummies at bay. Then there’s the choice of lounge bars for drinks.

Location-wise, there’s a sandy beach a 10-minute shuttle bus ride away. And, for daytrips, a 40-minute drive gets you to Playa del Carmen.

The nightlife centre is the Hacienda Doña Isabel, a mock 16th century colonial building. It’s home to a sports bar and La Rancherita nightclub and every Thursday night, it hosts a real Mexican fiesta*. You’ll find a couple of lounge bars which are good for a quiet drink or there’s a piano bar with live music each night.
