The Hotel Bahia Princess is located in the popular resort of Costa Adeje, on Tenerife's south-west coast. It’s in a great spot, with shops, bars and restaurants on its doorstep. There are also two beaches under five minutes' walk away, as well as the popular Playa del Duque slightly further – a large sweep of sand dotted with sun loungers and backed by seafront eateries.

This is a hotel complex with outstanding architecture and grand interiors. Richly ornamented pillars, a grand staircase in baroque style, lustrous marble floors and an impressive glass dome in the foyer.

POOL AREAS

Steps lead down from the columned reception area to the main pool which is heated in the winter. There’s a bar here for drinks, a restaurant, and a huge swathe of sun terrace.

Set on different levels from the main pool are two smaller pools with bar service on tap. There’s also a tucked-away pool for children.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Buffet restaurant - Opening Times: [07.30-10.30, 18.30-21.30]. Breakfast and dinner, with show cooking in the evenings. There's a dress code here - men are asked to wear trousers and a shirt for dinner. The dress code for gala meals is a jacket and tie with shirt and trousers.

El Balcon snack restaurant* - By the main pool. The hotel offers a picnic lunch or dinner on your departure day. Lunch is included as part of Full Board.

Princess bar* - This is where the entertainment takes place. Expect music and shows daily.

Piano bar* - Every evening at this bar there's live music from 7pm.

Coco Loco pool bar* - Drinks, fresh fruit juices and smoothies are all on offer here.

Vitaminas bar* - Serves snacks, drinks and ice-cream. There's also take-away food such as burgers, chips and hot dogs from 12.30pm until 3pm.

Christmas Day gala meal - Formal wear is required with a jacket and tie and full-length trousers for the gents. And ladies are asked to wear elegant dresses.

A la carte dining* - A la carte lunches are available at El Balcon and the main buffet restaurant.

SPORTS & LEISURE

There’s aqua aerobics in the main pool, while other options include table tennis*, billiards* and giant chess*.

Tribute acts feature heavily in the evenings, so listen out for the sounds of Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé and Elton John. Aside from live music, there are comedians, magicians and flamenco dancers.

The piano bar is a good spot for a quiet drink.

Due to health and safety reasons, mobility scooters aren't allowed in the hotel. You'll be able to park and charge your mobility scooter in the garage below the reception.
